Dharmambigai Rindhya is a native of Pallavaram in Tamil Nadu. She did her High School studies at St Theresa's Girls Higher Secondry School in Pallavaram. Rindya did Political Science at MCC College in Tambaram

The original name of Jithan in Kumkumapoovuis Amit. He is a popular Malayalam big screen actor. His character in the movie 'Kuttisrang' as 'Joppan'  and the negative role of Asif Ali's brother in Kadha ithuvare clear indications of this actors Caliber.

Amit started his career in films before many years. He debuted in the film Avanazhi  by director I V Sashi. he played the role of Seema's Brother. His acting skills were showcased in the Bharathan film Pranamam. Mayilvannan's Puyil paadum padathu set a milestone for him.

 Now he is one of the famous TV Serial actor in Kerala. Kumumapoovu is a milestone in his career; in this program he portrays  a helpless father silently watching the fate of his daughter, played by Shelly, who was made into an orphan by the relatives.
